Manipulate Arts is excited to present an Autumn Animation Season across Scotland running September – December 2026. The season brings independent animated films to major venues, community arts centres and festivals. We can’t wait to reach audiences from Shetland to Dumfries and Dundee to Cromarty with award-winning films which can shift perceptions of what animation can be and who it is for.
Manipulate’s animation programming exemplifies how to be diverse and make a statement, while still creating strands that are entertaining, powerful and overall fun to watch. There is exceptional taste and care in the selection
A Young(ish) Perspective
Manipulate Arts’ Autumn Animation Season is supported by Film Hub Scotland, part of the BFI’s Film Audience Network, awarding funding on behalf of Screen Scotland and the BFI National Lottery.
